In a surprising revelation, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov shared that he is the biological father of over 100 children. He now plans to make his DNA open source to help his biological children find each other.
Pavel Durov, speaking on the messaging app Telegram, stated, “About 15 years ago, a friend approached me to donate sperm at a clinic because he and his wife were unable to conceive due to infertility.”
Durov disclosed that by 2024, his sperm donations have helped over 100 couples in 12 countries to have children.
He mentioned that his frozen sperm is still available anonymously at a clinic for families wishing to conceive.
The entrepreneur expressed his intention to make his DNA open source to enable his biological children to connect. Emphasizing the importance of healthy sperm, he remarked, “I am proud to have fulfilled my duty.”
He highlighted the global issue of a shortage of healthy sperm, stating, “A shortage of healthy sperm has become a serious problem worldwide, and I am proud to have contributed to addressing this issue. I want to encourage healthy men to donate sperm so that families struggling to conceive can experience the joy of parenthood.”
