Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has terminated Sher Afzal Marwat’s basic membership for gross violation/ breach of discipline.

The announcement, signed by PTI’s Additional Secretary General, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, indicated that Marwat was on notice during which the disciplinary committee found several issues with his conduct.

The committee observed that Sher Afzal Marwat blatantly disregarded the party’s rules and regulations.

“He perceived himself as being above the party’s laws,” stated the official declaration.

The committee further recommended that Sher Afzal Marwat should resign from his National Assembly seat, emphasizing that his actions were not in line with the party’s ethos.

The decision to expel Sher Afzal Marwat from PTI comes after a thorough review by the party’s disciplinary committee.
