Pakistan's First Female Aeronautical Engineer Invents World's First Eco-Friendly Aircraft Engine

Dr. Sarah Qureshi, Pakistan’s first female aeronautical engineer, has achieved another milestone with the creation of an advanced fighter jet engine using cutting-edge technology.

As the founder of Pakistan’s first commercial airplane engine and aircraft company, Aero Engine Craft, Dr. Qureshi is making waves in the aerospace industry.

She holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield University, UK, and is also a professional pilot with acrobatic flying experience.

Collaborating with her father, scientist and physicist Masood Latif Qureshi, Dr. Qureshi has developed a revolutionary engine.

This innovative engine features a unique pressure-based condensation mechanism, which cools water vapours in the plane’s exhaust.

This condensed water can be stored and released as needed, promoting environmental sustainability.

Dr. Sarah Qureshi’s groundbreaking work continues to pave the way for eco-friendly advancements in aerospace technology, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan and the global aviation industry.
