Muhammad Naseem Khan Swati‘s life is a testament to the power of dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others.

Born on April 10, 1981, in Karachi, Naseem’s journey is a rich tapestry of education, journalism, community service, and spiritual growth.

Naseem’s educational background is a remarkable blend of traditional and modern learning.

He began his academic journey at Government Primary School, Joz, and later received a Quranic education from the late Qari Muhammad Hasan.

His thirst for knowledge led him to Maulana Saeedullah’s madrasah in F-8/2 Islamabad, where he memorized the Holy Quran.

He further pursued religious education at Jamia Muhammadiyah Islamabad, completing his studies up to the third level (درجہ ثالثہ).

Additionally, he studied Tajweed at Dawah Academy of Islamic University, Islamabad, and later attended Jamia Ashrafia Lahore, one of the world’s most revered Islamic institutions.

Parallel to his religious education, Naseem’s passion for journalism flourished. He wrote stories and articles for national newspapers while he was still in school, and his column “Jalty Dil – جلتے دل” was regularly published in the Journalism Newspaper of Islamabad in 2001.

His exceptional writing skills earned him the Gold Medal and Mother Nation Award from the Pakistan Journals Council and Monthly Parcham ( ماہنامہ پرچم) Islamabad.

Naseem’s versatility extends beyond journalism and religious education. He completed his Master of Arts (MA) in Urdu from Hazara University, Mansehra.

He has been an editor in various newspapers and magazines, including Aab-e-Hayat (آب حیات), Subh-e-Naseem (صبح نسیم), and Abbasin Times (اباسین ٹائمز).

His foray into electronic media began in 2010 with Sohni Dharti, Agro TV channel, followed by stints at ATV News, News One, GTV, Such TV, and Samaa TV.

Throughout his career, Naseem has remained committed to community service.

His involvement with the Battagram Press Club since 2009 has been instrumental in bridging gaps and fostering unity among members.

In 2021, he was elected as the general secretary of Battagram Press Club, playing a pivotal role in securing registration and an annual grant from the provincial government for the first time.

His unique blend of education, journalism, and community service has equipped him with a distinctive perspective, allowing him to navigate the complexities of his community with empathy and insight.
