Engineer Ubaid Ur Rehman Shams has officially been elected as the Provincial President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa School Leaders Association (KPSLA), marking a significant milestone for the young social activist and school leader from Battagram, a small and underdeveloped district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This election underscores Mr. Shams’ relentless commitment to advancing education and empowering youth leadership in the region.
A graduate of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, with a degree in Electrical Engineering (Batch 14-18), Mr. Shams has always been a staunch advocate for student rights, both during his university years and within his home district.

Following his graduation, Mr. Shams took a bold step by founding the Battagram Youth Parliament, an initiative aimed at nurturing young leaders and fostering an education-centric environment in the district.
His efforts have led to remarkable achievements, such as the establishment of Zone 6, a dedicated library for the district, and the inauguration of a university campus in Battagram, both of which have significantly contributed to the educational infrastructure of the area.
As the newly elected Provincial President of KPSLA, Mr. Shams is poised to make an even greater impact.
His leadership, experience, and unwavering dedication to promoting quality education will undoubtedly be instrumental in achieving the collective goals of the association.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa School Leaders Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Shams and looks forward to a fruitful collaboration in advancing the educational landscape of the region.
