In a decisive victory, Naeem Ullah Khan has been elected as the President of Battagram Press Club for the 2024/2025 term, securing 16 out of 24 votes.
The election results have generated significant interest across Battagram, reflecting the strong support for Naeem Ullah, who previously served as the President of the Press Club.
His opponent, Nadir Khan, secured only 8 votes, highlighting the clear mandate for Naeem Ullah’s leadership.
In the race for General Secretary, Naseem Khan Swati successfully defended his position by winning 15 out of 24 votes, defeating his rival Noor-ul-Haq Hashmi, who received just 9 votes.
Naseem Khan Swati’s re-election underscores his continued influence and popularity within the press community of Battagram.
Similarly, the Union of Journalists’ elections also concluded with unopposed victories.
Qari Ehsan Peshowra was elected as President while Rahimullah Faiz was General Secretary, both securing their positions without any opposition, reflecting the trust and confidence placed in them by their peers.
