Kapil Sharma, a household name in Indian television, has dominated the small screen for over a decade. However, his latest project, The Great Indian Kapil Show, has recently come under fire.
Amit Aryan, the renowned writer of the popular show FIR, has openly criticized the program, labeling it as the “worst show in Indian comedy history” and accusing it of “spreading filth.”
In a recent interview, Amit Aryan did not hold back his harsh opinions. He stated, “I’m about to make a controversial statement, but I believe I have the right to do so because I possess more experience than Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek combined.”
According to Aryan, The Kapil Sharma Show fails to uphold the standards of comedy and often resorts to cheap humor.
“Men dressing as women and making derogatory remarks have become a recurring theme. Women deserve respect, but look at how Krushna Abhishek’s character consistently makes disrespectful comments.”
Aryan further criticized the show’s success, attributing it not to Kapil Sharma’s talent but to the supporting characters.
“If you closely examine The Kapil Sharma Show, it’s running due to the supporting cast, not Kapil himself. Even his Netflix special, Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet, flopped because no one was interested. The sad truth is, these shows are spreading negativity, and it’s seeping into our homes.”
