Jamaat-e-Islami's 'Haq Do Awam Ko' Movement Gains Nationwide Momentum

In a decisive move for public rights, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’s Vice President, Dr. Usama Razi, has announced the launch of the “Haq Do Awam Ko” Movement, which is gaining widespread support across the country.

Addressing members at the Markaz Islami in Abbottabad, Dr. Razi strongly condemned the government for exploiting the people over the past 77 years, pushing them into poverty and hardship while indulging in luxury themselves.

His speech emphasized the urgent need for reforms to restore justice and rights to the Pakistani public.

Dr. Usama Razi made these remarks during a gathering attended by Jamaat-e-Islami’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, District Ameer Abdul Razzaq Abbasi, and District Qeem.

All leaders echoed a unified call for action, highlighting the significance of this movement in rallying public support.

Dr. Usama Razi explained that the “Haq Do Awam Ko” Movement aligns with the vision of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, who believes that raising public awareness and mobilizing communities is essential to ensuring that Pakistanis get the rights they deserve.

Over the past weeks, this movement has staged 14-day sit-ins, massive rallies in major cities, and successful nationwide strikes, all showcasing the strength of the public’s voice.

“Our next phase focuses on expanding this movement further,” Dr. Razi said, revealing that a massive outreach campaign has already begun.

As part of this effort, the party is actively recruiting new members, and forming liaison committees that will engage the public in their fight for justice.

He reassured citizens that Jamaat-e-Islami’s leadership will continue its struggle to protect them from government oppression and work tirelessly to bring about the necessary reforms.

During his address, Dr. Razi issued a stern warning to the government regarding the rising electricity bills, reminding officials that they only have 10 days left to meet the deadlines set by Jamaat-e-Islami for reducing the financial burden on the public.

Failure to do so, he warned, will force the government to take immediate action to provide relief to the masses.

The speakers reiterated that the “Haq Do Awam Ko” Movement has garnered immense support, not only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but across the entire nation, with large numbers of citizens standing alongside Jamaat-e-Islami.

This movement is seen as a powerful demonstration of public unity and their demand for justice, compelling the government to listen to their voices.
