The UK Home Office has announced emergency security measures to protect mosques across the country due to fears of racist attacks.

According to British media, the Home Office has revealed that a Rapid Response Force can now be deployed for mosque security in any emergency situation.

The Home Office stated that police, local authorities, and mosques can request the Rapid Response Force in times of emergency.

This force will work to ensure the safety of the community and the resumption of worship in the mosques.

The British Home Secretary has emphasized that as a nation, criminal behavior, extremism, and racial attacks will not be tolerated.

Previously, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer referred to the instability on UK streets as “right-wing thuggery.”

He remarked that the Muslim community is being targeted and that everyone has the right to live in the country.

He assured that the law would deal with right-wing thugs with full force and those spreading unrest would regret their actions. Such individuals will be brought to justice.

The Prime Minister further stated that “this is not protest but thuggery, which has no place on our streets.”

It is important to note that in cities like Liverpool, Hull, Bristol, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Blackpool, and Belfast, more than 150 police officers and numerous citizens have been injured in racist attacks over the past five days.

In these incidents, angry individuals have set police stations on fire and looted stores. More than 250 individuals involved in violent incidents have been arrested by the police.

Authorities have attributed the violent incidents to rumors spread on social media.

Local media reported that right-wing supporters have been protesting in the UK since the killing of children in Southport.

The United Kingdom is currently grappling with a significant surge in racially motivated violence, prompting the Home Office to introduce emergency security measures to protect places of worship, particularly mosques.

This move comes amid rising concerns over potential attacks on the Muslim community.

The new security initiative includes the deployment of a Rapid Response Force, which can be called upon in emergencies to safeguard mosques.

This force, available at the request of police, local authorities, or the mosques themselves, aims to ensure the safety of worshippers and facilitate the swift resumption of religious activities.

The British Home Secretary has made it clear that the government will not tolerate any form of criminal behavior, extremism, or racial violence.

In a statement, the Home Secretary emphasized the nation’s collective commitment to combating these threats and ensuring the safety of all communities.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer has also weighed in on the issue, condemning the recent unrest on UK streets.

He labeled the current wave of violence as “right-wing thuggery” and highlighted that the Muslim community is being unjustly targeted.

The Prime Minister affirmed that everyone has the right to live peacefully in the UK and assured that the law would deal with right-wing extremists with full force.

He warned that those responsible for spreading chaos would face severe consequences and be held accountable for their actions.

The Prime Minister’s strong stance reflects the government’s determination to address the root causes of this unrest and protect vulnerable communities.

He stressed that “this is not protest but thuggery, which has no place on our streets.”

The situation has escalated significantly in various cities, including Liverpool, Hull, Bristol, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Blackpool, and Belfast.

Over the past five days, these cities have witnessed violent incidents that have resulted in injuries to more than 150 police officers and numerous civilians.

The unrest has seen police stations set on fire and stores looted by angry mobs.

In response to the violence, the police have arrested more than 250 individuals involved in these incidents.

Authorities have pointed to the role of social media in exacerbating the situation, with rumors and misinformation contributing to the unrest.

The local media has reported that right-wing supporters have been particularly active since the tragic killing of children in Southport.

This event appears to have ignited a series of protests and violent actions, further complicating the social landscape.

The government’s swift response with emergency security measures underscores its commitment to restoring order and ensuring the safety of all citizens.

As the situation continues to develop, the Home Office and law enforcement agencies remain vigilant and prepared to address any further threats.
