In a remarkable display of dedication and religious devotion, an 11-year-old girl from Faisalabad, Haniya Kashif, has successfully memorized the entire Quran in just 34 days.
Haniya’s achievement has garnered widespread attention and admiration, reminding many of the legacy of her relative, the late Arfa Karim, who gained international recognition in the field of IT at a very young age.
Inspired by her older brothers, who are also Hafiz-e-Quran, Haniya decided to embark on the challenging journey of memorizing the Quran.
She devoted herself day and night to this noble cause, and within a span of 34 days, she completed her memorization.
According to Haniya, this journey was not only about hard work but also about spiritual connection.
She revealed that she had prayed in Masjid Nabawi, asking for strength and guidance to help her fulfill this dream.
Haniya recounted her experience, saying, “I read my final Nazra lesson at Masjid Nabawi.
When I started memorizing the Quran, I would recite half a ‘sipara’ (section) each day.
By the time I reached the sixth sipara, I began reciting half in the morning and half in the evening. On the final day, I completed two full siparas.”
Her teacher, Hafiz Irfan-ul-Haq, who has been teaching for over 40 years, was deeply moved by her commitment and performance.
He said, “In all my years of teaching, Haniya is the first student to have memorized the Quran in such a short time. This is a great honor not only for her but also for me as her teacher.”
Haniya’s father, Kashif Randhawa, expressed his immense pride in his daughter’s accomplishment.
He remarked that her dedication and perseverance reflect the strength of their family’s values and faith.
Looking ahead, Haniya aspires to continue her religious education and one day become a renowned Islamic scholar, contributing to the spread of Islamic knowledge and values.
Her extraordinary achievement has already made her a role model for young girls and boys across Pakistan and beyond, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to dedication and faith.
