In a remarkable display of devotion, Masjid-e-Nabawi in Medina has witnessed an astonishing influx of over 5.7 million worshippers in just one week.
This impressive figure underscores the mosque’s profound spiritual significance and the deep connection Muslims around the world feel with this sacred site.
According to the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, a staggering 5,735,016 individuals visited Masjid-e-Nabawi last week.
Among them, 527,152 pilgrims paid their respects at Roza-e-Rasool, while another 258,752 worshippers offered prayers in the revered area of Riyaz ul Jannah.
The mosque’s management ensured that all arrangements were executed smoothly and efficiently to accommodate the immense number of visitors.
During this period, a total of 1,590 tonnes of Zamzam water was distributed to quench the thirst of the worshippers.
Additionally, 196 samples were collected for water testing and analysis to maintain the highest standards of safety and purity.
In keeping with the tradition of hospitality, 257,277 Iftar packs were distributed at designated locations within the mosque.
Furthermore, 26,811 visitors benefited from translation services, ensuring that worshippers from diverse linguistic backgrounds could fully participate in the religious activities.
The remarkable turnout at Masjid-e-Nabawi highlights the enduring spiritual connection that Muslims worldwide share with this holy site, making it one of the most visited places of worship on the planet.
